My husband may be accepting a job in another state. The company said they would buy our home after having it appraised. What should be do to get the best possible appraisal?

We have two rooms in the house that aren't painted. Our windows need cleaning. The carpets are in good shape but need cleaning...are these things important. What about cleaning up the garage floors and organizing it better?

As of 10/08, I noticed a water leak. Maintenance came out 10/09. The dining area was COMPLETELY soaked. They left large holes in the wall, connecting my apt to my neighbor's for a few days without covering up (my neighbor brought my cat back to me on the first day since she went into his apartment via the hole). The bottom of my kitchen cabinets were removed. I could not use the dishwasher or sink in my kitchen (along with the 3 other nieghbors on my side of the building) for about 3 days. As I looked into the cabinets, a LARGE amount of mold was growing! They did not do anything to physically remove this, just replaced the bottom board. The carpet was not pulled up, now if feels tacky. I now have mold growing along the baseboard. I have taken about 25+ pictures with dates (during work and after). Since they have no motivation to fix this, what should be the next step? Should I call the BBB? I have had a few issues before, none this severe. Any advice would be appreciated.

who else thinks getting a loan/credit agreement at 15/16 year old is very pathetic and sad, when the person is well off with his own money, he gets a credit agreement out just to pay for his obsesive computer equipment, i am worried this will lead him into debt, who else thinks this is worrying at such a young age

I always hear that if you win a million dollars you only get about half that.

WTF, why is it so high, half my check wont go to the govt, it should be the exact same principal, all income you make should be taxed on the same scale.

Okay, From what ive heard, if you OWN something...JUST OWNING IT.

You still have to pay tax. Like a car or a house,

You own it, you already paid tax on it when you bought it, this seems so illogical and injust.

is this true, wtf.

Now, I know MOST things the government does can be explained with atleast a small amout of logic behind it.

I win the lottery and get a lump sum, I pay ALL the income tax on it (How is it 50%) That should be it, I should never have to deal with the govt again if I quit my job and just live off my money, I don't earn anymore money, so why should I have to pay tax. (Except for sales tax)

I am having trouble with applying for things because I have no credit. I want to apply for a credit card that I can afford and just pay it off right away so that I have a zero balance. But according to some people that I talked to you must have a balance to earn good credit.
