I am a IT consultant working for a major global IT firm as a full time employee,

I am wondering what kind of expenses can i claim back as tax refunds at the end of the financial year. I am not a resident of UK , so i was wondering if I brought a laptop in UK for work purpose, could this expense be deducted from my taxable amount?

Thanks

Ben

If you are not resident in the UK then it depends on the tax rules of the country you are living in.
If you mean that you are not a UK citizen, but are working in the UK then their tax rules apply and you can't claim as computer as a business expense if your are not self-employed.
