I'll be heading to California, in December. I'm planning to bring along some travellers cheque. I'm wondering if say I intend to convert my USD100 travellers cheque to USD cash, will I received the full USD100 cash, or will I receive less than USD100. In other words, are there fees associated with converting the travellers cheque to cash? Thanks.

You pay the fees when you buy the checks. ( American spelling) Some place will charge a feee to cash them, but for purchases you will recieve full value.
