When something is advertised as carrying a "Lifetime Warranty", does this mean that the item is warrantied for its lifetime? Does this mean that if it breaks down, it's considered that it's at the end of its life and therefore the warranty expires?

Isn't it the same as saying something is guaranteed to work till it breaks down?

my partner's a chef, and wants to move into a different career area - but his skills are somewhat limited to brilliant cooking, and an interest in music (inc large record collection). i don't think he'd be happy or comfortable in an office, and he doesn't like customers...... can anyone suggest something else?

No dobut Joe Torre is probably one of the best coaches in baseball. But I think he has no class for calling a $5 million dollar per year salary plus $3 million more based on performance an "insult." How much money do people need these days to be satisfied with things? Who cares if it's a pay cut for him. Does he need to buy a bigger mansion or something or is he planning of donating his raise to the redcross? There's people that would love to manage the Yankees for free if they had the oportunity. I've totally lost respect for him. Am I the only one?

Last week, I saw an advertisement on recruiting real estate agents online, and signed up for it. Later I was required to pay a fee around $500 to be accepted to work as an agent. Is this reliable or just some kind of fraud?

I doubt I would qualify for a loan from my bank to pay it off. I also don't think I would qualify for one of those consolidation services because I don't have a good record of paying my credit cards on time. I am so ovewhelmed. I just paid off a lot of money to one of them, and because it was a day late, they increased my balance, so it was like I didn't pay anything at all! I'm starting to think about declaring bankruptcy but for one of my jobs (I have 3) I am a nanny and get paid under the table. I'm scared that I'll get in trouble for that. Can someone please help me? I'm shaking so bad right now..I'm having a hard time breathing because I am so worried.

I've been at a job for 10 months now. Pretty steady person in my career. And lately it feels like everything I do is totally wrong. Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't seem like work should be a constant struggle. Anyone out there understand what I am talking about?

I just graduated from a university with a B.A. in Mass Communication/Public Relations degree and am having a hard time finding employment. I have been looking in many different locations. I am also finding it hard to get anyone who is far away to look at my resume. Why is it so hard to relocate/find a job after college? What should I do? How can I get experience if no one will give me a chance?!

I saw an advertisement here on yahoo for a company called Certified Career Institute (CCI). This company trains people to be a WPS (Web Promotion Specialist) and claims a 500 fortune company will hire you and you will make ALOT of money. It also claims to have a 100 % success rate, says it is NOT a scam and that you can do this course in a about 3 days or so.

Is this company legit? I searched around on the web and couldn't find anything bad.
