I am a 21 yr old single male making between 3500 and 4000 a month net pay. i pay a lot of taxes since much of this is overtime pay. i have a lot of debt i can't seem to control. i have very few bills and whatnot to take care of. would it be expensive for me to get someone to take care of all that for me and possibly put my money to good work for me? i would appreciate your thoughts on this subject. where might i find such a person to do this and what would be the approximate cost?

The family across from me is having a really hard time financially. It is a two parent family with five children , The father lost his job two months ago. Last week they had some furniture taken from them and today their car was repossessed. I am afraid they may be put out on the street. I don't want money from you but I think maybe our neighbors can help. How can I convince them to help this family.

Okay so look, i got a couple of euros and pounds (british) saved up, about 700 dollars worth, and im expecting to get more over the next couple of weeks. So my question is, do you think i should exchange them now, or should i wait a little longer due to the fall of the dollar?

Right now it looks like this..
1 Euro = 1.4286 U.S. dollars
1 British pound = 2.0467 U.S. dollars

Will the exchange rate increase, or decrease over the next couple of months?

A few years ago I had surgery. I had a herniated disc in my back for years, then when I graduated and was cut off my parents' insurance my Dr. decided that I needed an operation. A lawyer told me that it would probably still be covered because it was a pre-existing injury and I wouldn't have to pay. This wasn't the case and I now have $15,000 worth of unpaid bills. I had already bought a house and new car with my fiance, and can't afford to make any extra payments. My credit is not good. I was told that the score is fine but it looks as if I have $15,000 worth of bills due every month, and I never pay them.

Should I declare bankruptcy? What will look worse in about 8-10 years when I try to buy another house or car; having a bankrupcy on my record or having the unpaid bills still there? Even if i did try to pay them off it's gonna take at least 5 years and I'm told it will still show up badly for years afterwards.

i received a job email from jobstreet that is UK bound. i tried applying and after a few days i got an email informing me of being qualified. it's a job abroad for UK for office staff post.from the start, the whole thing is confusing. it says the company is Career Care Center then Card International UK Ltd. no interviews whatsoever, i am instantly qualified. they instructed me to prepare papers etc. surfed the internet about the company and no such thing exists. not until october 10 when it launched its site with links that doesnt function. when a friend tried to inquire thru web contact data in their site about the company, he received an email from the site stating that he was qualified and must prepare docs. WHAT! and the company requires 3800 as 2-day training in one flyff training and review center.they dont even disclose the company's address in job ads or in their site. all appplicants online too were shortlisted, wow!not poea accredited too. am i on my way to be conned?a fraud?

Ok so apparently you have to justify everything you write off as a business expense, right? So, how do they define it as being justified? Do they have some sort of standard to follow depending on the type of business your running?

What if you have stuff thats for business but also personal use? Like these headphones i bought - i bought them for myself but i also use them to test out the sound cards on laptops i sell (i sell computers over the internets)

Could i go as far as writing off my half-life 2game wich i bought for myself? I could say i use it to test out the video cards on the computers i sell, and i have actually done that so that i could take pics of a laptop running that game.

My husband and I are in our early twenties, and are interested in buying homes, to use as rent houses and hopefully make a second income. We are also interested in buying them to fix up and resale. Does anyone know how to get started on that. We don't have any money to put down on it. We are also wanting to buy houses for fairly cheap. There are lots of homes around here for sale, however they are pretty expensive, and the mortgage would be high. We also wouldn't make any kind of profit on a resale either. I need some advise and some help. I saw a infomercial some time ago about buying homes for pennies on the dollar. Does that actually work? Can you really buy a large home for a few hundred dollars, and then resale it for 50-100 thousand?? I don't believe any of that.

Thanks a bunch for any advice I receive.

The listing agent tells my realtor that the sellers haven't gotten back to him yet, but that we are the only offer right now. We offered asking price, but we need $5,500.00 in concessions..so technically we offered $114,500.00 on a home listed at $120,000.00. We really want the home. We were told that the sellers declined 2 previous offers of 100 and 105.. the bank is about to take the home from them so would you think they'd have accepted our offer by now? Can they be waiting for other offers to come in before giving us an answer? I know a woman was there today writing up an offer, but that she hasn't put it in yet, probably because today is Sunday.

I heard 401K's & Roth IRA's are the only 2 things the government does NOT consider when determining how much money i get for financial aide.

How would i go about getting one? Is there a minimum balance? Do i need to be employed through a company to open one? Is there penalties? Please be as specific as possible. Thanks

Over the last 15 years or so, people have been buying the houses in our neighborhood, and fixing them up. This happened to almost every house on our block, including ours before we bought it two years ago. Someone recently bought the house next to ours (the last crappy house on the block) with the intentions of fixing it up and selling it. About a month ago, this man made a comment to my husband that he is probably going to knock the existing structure down, and rebuild a beautiful big house in its place. That made my husband and I very happy, but we haven't seen him since. The house is vacant, with boards on the windows, a definite eye sore. If and when he starts tearing it down, will he have to inform us? I am happy about having a new nice house next to ours, but of course I'm not happy about living next to a construction site! Can we go to the town and ask if permits were filed? We're having a big party at our house in 2 months, so I want to plan accordingly.
