i received a job email from jobstreet that is UK bound. i tried applying and after a few days i got an email informing me of being qualified. it's a job abroad for UK for office staff post.from the start, the whole thing is confusing. it says the company is Career Care Center then Card International UK Ltd. no interviews whatsoever, i am instantly qualified. they instructed me to prepare papers etc. surfed the internet about the company and no such thing exists. not until october 10 when it launched its site with links that doesnt function. when a friend tried to inquire thru web contact data in their site about the company, he received an email from the site stating that he was qualified and must prepare docs. WHAT! and the company requires 3800 as 2-day training in one flyff training and review center.they dont even disclose the company's address in job ads or in their site. all appplicants online too were shortlisted, wow!not poea accredited too. am i on my way to be conned?a fraud?

do not, i repeat, do not send any money;;;;;;;;;
if you cant find anything on this company and they require you to pay for training, this has to be a scam. any company that wants to hire you will pay for any training as a part of their company expenses;
do not give them any personal info such as social security, dob etc or you may be in a fight with your financial records at risk.
the key is; you are "instantly" qualified. i never heard of anyone hiring someone without first being interviewed. this is no different than getting an email stating you won a contest and to send a check in a certain amount and they will send you a check for the lottery or contest you won; the money never comes and you are out of your own money and scammed.
try to find a department in the UK that you can report this to.
but again;;;;;;;;do not send any money. this is fraud;

it would depend on the context of content of the email you received. BUT it sounds like it is a scam.
Did they ask you for any personal info? OR state how they got a hold of your email addy, as in "i noticed your resume on monster etc?"
if you cant find anything on their company via www it probably is a scam/fraud unfortunately.
could you perhaps share some more info as to the contents of the email?

If they want you to pay anything, you can consider it a scam. You will not be able to pass the training course.
