Telemarketing if you have good communication skills. Or work at some retail or fast-food places such as clothing stores or McDonald's.

Well first of all you must be at least 16 to work in most public places. [some places require an older age, while otehr places somehow allow younger kids to work, though it is illegal in many cases] You should check around local spots, such as a coffee shop, or the ever famous Shop-Rite or McDonalds.

Otehrwise, if you are in highschool, you may be able to work through the school and earn money. For example, being part of the video and fiml club gives you the opportunity to work as a camera operator at a home game and get paid. My brother does that and gets paid $9/ hour which is not bad at all. It's higher than what a lot of public places would pay, and it's thorugh the school, so you get your benefits.

The ways you can earn money depends alot on your age. You can do acting or modeling like some other people have suggested. Babysitting is how I sometimes earn cash. If you are old enough to get a work permit then you can work at restaurants cleaning tables/washing dishes or whatever for minimum wage. The minimum wage varies on the state you are in. Hope that helps and good luck :D.

Landscaping is a big one for males. Cut grass, shovel snow, help home owners with other chores. Females can always babysit but I'm not sure if the laws have made that more complicated now days :/.

Paper routes and fast-food are popular as well.

Last year in the fall me and my friend raked leaves! We made 40 dollars in two days, it was so exciting just because were were younger and easily thrilled by that much money. In the winter, we shoveled snow and in two days we made 60 bucks, it got kind of cold but it was really worth it in the end! Good luck finding jobs for the kids!

1) Stock market--you're never too young to start
A friend of mine started when he was 14 and by the time he went to college he had over $50K to use for his education. He was given a free ride due to his ACT score (shock), so he used most of the money to buy his first home.

2) Start your own business--dog walking, yard maintenance, pool cleaning, etc.

3) Work for the newspaper--sometimes they will take you as a delivery boy/girl

For a sudden surge of cash: ebay/garage sales
