Simply do whatever you're passionate about and don't let parental influence change your career path. Only you know what really is best for you. Trying to mold to a career that you're not passionate about to just make others happy is destructive.

PLAIN AND SIMPLE...
Just do what you LOVE!!!
If people want you to be a Lawyer/Doctor and that is NOT what you want, DON'T DO IT! You will probably be miserable. Well, maybe not financially, but deep in your heart. Choose the career that YOU LOVE, that is what you should follow and do.

What do you like to do or what are you interested in?
Keep in mind - your going to be working for a very long time so even if the job is not your dream job - you want to find something that suits your talents and you at least enjoy sometimes.

Just try some jobs that you are interesting in. I believe people won't actually know what kind of job is suitable for him. You have to try in order to figure out.
I am trying to find out the suitable job for me now.
