I saw an advertisement here on yahoo for a company called Certified Career Institute (CCI). This company trains people to be a WPS (Web Promotion Specialist) and claims a 500 fortune company will hire you and you will make ALOT of money. It also claims to have a 100 % success rate, says it is NOT a scam and that you can do this course in a about 3 days or so.

Is this company legit? I searched around on the web and couldn't find anything bad.

You can check out the website here:

Just thought I'd weigh in on this. I'm a CCI graduate. The course is very well put together. They do get you working with a Fortune 500 company (I'm working for Target) In the 3 months I have been doing it my monthly checkes have been: first month: 1,121,34; second month: 2,743.50; third month: 3,987.54

Personally, I wouldn't trust it because:

- it promises too much too quickly

- I know how long it takes to write articles and post them around the web. This isn't quick work as they say it is.

- They use your services and they take a commission from these fortune 500 companies - why do they then need you to pay for your training too?

- They claim there is limited space on their 'courses' but it looks to me as if the courses are delivered online. What restriction should there be in class sizes? Orare they just trying to make you panic and try to get your place really quickly?

No, they may have smooth presentation but this is still a hard sell program!

Also, I always check businesses out over here:

I tried it for CCI and they have no data on the existence of that company. If you go over there and try it, you can sign up to be notified when they OBB have checked the company out. Why not do that before you decide to pay your $250?

Hi

I wouldn't trust it. My website adviser indicates that the owner is unknown and the site is not listed as an active organization. It's gonna take more than 3 days to become a good WPS. I think this is a scam, especially if you have to pay for something. And the success stories on the website are most likely lies, and are used to convince you even further that the website is legitimate. Don't give them anything. I think it's a scam.

I, too took the course. I have been doing it somewhat longer, about 5 months, and I earn about $700 a week on average spending maybe 10 hours a week at night.

I have to say that I actually took the course and it was very enjoyable. I have not gotten rich yet, but I did make $3400 last month doing this work.

Hey, I corresponded with Bill Stanford of KGO TV California and he said he (he's a consumer reporter) checked them out and even had his own mom do it and he said it checked out. I just bought it and I'll let you know what happens.

Come on what do you think? Keep in mind most scams prey on YOUR greed to get something for nothing.
