my partner's a chef, and wants to move into a different career area - but his skills are somewhat limited to brilliant cooking, and an interest in music (inc large record collection). i don't think he'd be happy or comfortable in an office, and he doesn't like customers...... can anyone suggest something else?

How about a dj running a disco at parties and weddings etc.
and local bars.

Cooking involves alot of creativity and patience, try to ask your friend to stimulate his creativity, lets say artistic? I think alot of careers involves creativity

Event planning - He can do a little course (I believe some colleges offer this) and it will suit his creative temperament.
