Is there a difference, if so, what is it, and which would look better on your credit report?
Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

The house went sheriff sale Sept.5, 2007. I was told I did not have to pay landlord any rent but had 6 mos to get out. (March 2008) and the house was in forclosure. A man came over (Oct 19, 2007) stating that he bought the house and I have the option to move or pay him rent. He had some papers but I do not know if they were legit. How do I find out if the house was actually sold?

I am planning on purchasing a house soon and will be putting a 40% down payment towards the purchase. My question is when I sign the contract with the attorney, is the full 40% down payment given at that time, or at the time of closing? Is is customary to put a smaller amount at the time the contract is signed, and the remainder at the closing? It is my understanding that the amount given at the time of contract can be lost if the deal falls through...?

Will property taxes go down if I bought a home below SEV and Taxable value?
I bought a hoem fore $103,500, the sev is $65,500 ($131,000) and Taxable value is $50,249 ($100,498).

Current taxes are:
Summer 2007: $1,378.95
Winter 2006: $600.94

I just bought this home and am closing on it today 10/22/2007. What are my estimated taxes on this home for future, like winter 2007? Millage is 37.

Will my taxes be lower because I bought the home at a lower price than the SEV etc...?

I was suppose to recieve my direct deposit on Friday but, it never posted to my account. When I contacted the company to see what the problem was I was told by the owner of the company that no one recieved thier deposit that day and I should get it by Saturday or Monday. Saturday came, no deposit. Monday's here, still no deposit. Although, I did recieve a paycheck stub in the mail on Saturday. Is there anything else I can do? By the way, I resigned from this job October 1st so, this check that I'm waiting on is my last check from them.

How much do you think the average american is taxed. That is. Til what day of the year do YOU work until all these taxes are paid up. (fees permits taxes etc.).
Guess a day (like january 12th or something)then read this. But tell me your guess. and be HONEST!

I have placed an order with a mail order catalogue and the courier delivered it to a neighbour of mine because I was not in.

This was on or around 04.10.07.

I advised the catalogue that I have yet to recieve the item (perfume) last week.

The catalogue called me today to advise me that it was this neighbour that has it,

I knocked her door then as soon as I knocked the lights went off in her house.

I knocked about 5 times and there was no answer.

What should I do?

I have called the catalogue and they have creditted the account, shall I inform the catalogue and tell them to bill her because I do not want them to go out of pocket?
