I already checked their websites but it wasn't clear if they do. Sometimes they say a bachelor in engineering is required, they don't specify what major though. During the PE exam, I overheard an electrical engineer working for Deloitte with an MBA. If you know about other companies or fields that require both majors, let me know.

You just need the math skills with the engineering. Experience will help. If you apply and they don't hire you, find a smaller company to work at first to build your experience and then try again. An MBA and an Engineering Background usually bodes well.

I work at a Big Four and I know a several engineers who have moved on to get an MBA and work at the same company I do. As someone said above, the engineering is mostly critical in that a candidate would have strong analysis, problem solving and mathematical aptitude. I don't think Civil Engineers vs. Electrical really makes much difference.
