Does this mean I should look for employment someplace else? I dont know how do deal with this because my manager is in on this, I have no one to turn to for help. Any one I try to befriend, ends up making fun of me or ignoring me. They say things about me that are not true, they sabotage my passwords on my computer, and find ways to generally make my life difficult at work.
Is this just the way the workplace is or am I missing something? I am finding ways to cope, but I dont to "cope". I just want to be left alone to do my job. And get along with my co-workers. I believe I act in a professional manner,( no gossiping, proper apperance,e.t.c.) so this type of treatment is a mystery to me.

I'm trying to decide if advertising a service for travelers in in-flight magazines would be cost-effective. If one of these magazines' readership is, say, 2 million, is it conservative enough to say that 1% of those readers will answer my ad? (by "answer" I mean actually contact me about my service, not just look at the ad) If not, what would be a good percentage to work with. Remember it is a service for travelers and I would be advertising in in-flight magazines. Thanks!

If someone owes over $8000.00 in back taxes and have yet to file for about 3 years ( not included), what would be the best way for them to go about paying off their taxes ( a little at a time if possible).....or do they need an attorney or can they call the IRS and set up payments?

A lady at work told everyone she has 5 years experience in an accounting firm, yet she seems to be rather lost when preparing or explaning basic trial balance - and not comprehending basic practical tax questions.

I know it is none of my business (I am not reporting to her, she is not reporting to me), but I'm such a sticky nose, and it is burning inside me - what is the best way to ask her, whether she has glossed up her resume or not?

She doesn't do any "dirty work"; having 5 y exp, she comes as a supervisor, supervising other junior/senior staff in doing their work.

No I won't talk about her behind her back at work... I only do it here where noone knows who she is :-P

I knew I would have to pay a late charge and was prepared to do that, but now they added an over limit fee because of the late charge and my annual membership fee being due. So now they want $150. I cannot pay that much, so it will be another late fee and another overlimit fee, All I can pay is about $50. I tried to talk to them about it very nicely, pointing out that I will never get it caught up if they dont work with me a little here, and they refused to reverse any of the charges at all. So what is the use of sending any thing? The late fee and overlimit fees will keep adding up and negating my payment.

Everytime I get unexpected money from any source, I put it in an I bond. Today the electric company sent me $99 after hiking our bills up they did some negotiating and decided to send their customers some of their money back.
I dont want to pay my next bill with this money, but I would like to invest it somewhere. Any suggestions would be helpful.

How does a Rent w/ an option to buy work? Is it worth doing?

2007-10-04 15:50:14 · 3 answers · asked by Rico 1 in Renting & Real Estate

When we started looking to buy a house we needed a loan company who would work with someone who had a bankruptcy. After inquiring from a number of loan companies we finally found one who would work with us. They ran a credit check at the begining of last month. We signed some papers and when they went to underwriting they ran another one. Then because our score was lower than before, they turned us down. Because of alot of companies running a credit check it has brought our score down. How can we work on bringing it back up so that we can get a good deal on a loan?
