Hi, There are so many companies that allow you to work from home. SOOOO many. And from your question you may get skeptics or businesses which is not what you asked about. You asked about a JOB. Just look at the top where the leads and companies are. Huge listing as well. And also www.onestopwebemployment.com is also a great resource. Email me if you need additional help.
Also you know I sell used used books on Amazon, it's easy and you can get started right away. I even go to local thrift stores and buy books that are in good condition for like .50 or $1.00 and will sell it for like 9-10 dollars on up. You won't get rich but it's a few bucks.

So I've only found FOUR really great sites that I trust, I now make all my money using all 4. They're free to sign up and they pay the fastest.

Since the companies in India have you totally beat on price (about a $1 / hr for data entry ) and are fully contracted with US businesses , ( USA downloads to them at the end of our business day & the work is done & uploaded by the next AM ) .
You might consider , babysitting , baking , sewing . . .
