Such as logos, or characters for a comic. Should I ask for a percentage, and if so, how much? And how do I draft a legal contract for such a transaction? Thanks for any advice.

Yeah it's pretty simple, but I just want to know what is a good stock to buy that will maximize my profits. The kid who made the game knows a lot because his dad has several stocks.

Our income tax as derived from wages may go to the treasury dept. however, isn't it a little suspicious that the amount of wage originated tax revenue is almost precisely the same as the interest owed by the U.S. Government to the federal reserve bank?

This is to say, the lip service paid by the U.S. Government stating such terms as "Your tax dollars at work", and "we need to increase taxes to such and such an end..." is just that, lip service.

Where is the accounting to say otherwise? I mean, the logic here would mean that the govt. borrows from the fed res bank for the monies that are said to be tax derived funds for the many programs. While the taxes we pay can not begin to pay the principal of this constantly growing debt.

Schools, roads, PD,FD, welfare, etc. (local programs) are paid for by sales and state and property taxes . The Armed Forces and other federal expences are covered by Corporate tax revenues.

I don't want to be right on this. Please prove me wrong

I realize you can get up to $12k FROM your parents tax-free per year, but can you gift money/property to them if they are in need? Seems logical, but our tax code tends to defy logic.
Thanks!!

I live in Maryland and I just bought a house, closing was on July 31st. We recently have had a problem with the sewer line backing up (Not Septic) and found out that the sewer pipe is "totally busted up and broken" according to the plumber. Is the seller responsible for anything? They were suppose to disclose problems they knew about and this was not mentioned.

Thanks a Million!

My wife left me because my income dropped and I could no longer support us. I have been searching and have found a job but I am behind on everything. I have no friends or relatives(all deceased) to turn to. The job I found will not provide enough income to stay here even if I was not behind.

If you enter "minutes ago" site:answers.yahoo.com to Google regular search box, you will get this message:
Results 1 - 10 of about 15,800,000 from answers.yahoo.com for "minutes ago".
This is the hyperlink:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&newwindow=1&safe=off&q=%22minutes+ago%22+site%3Aanswers.yahoo.com&btnG=Search
While you type site:answers.yahoo.com into Google regular search box, you will get this message:
Results 1 - 10 of about 9,120,000 from answers.yahoo.com.
This is the hyperlink:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&newwindow=1&safe=off&q=+site%3Aanswers.yahoo.com&btnG=Search

Since the first search term is more restrictive than the second, how can it generate many more results? That is 15,800,000 vs. 9,120,000.

I am currently waiting for a USPS job. They're checking on my license and driving records which could take another week or two, plus I need to pass a physical. I will be a rural carrier.

I received a call today from my local school for a lunch substitute position. The pay isn't much but the schedule is more suited for me because I have a young girl. This is a position through my state.

However both positions could lead to full time after a year of employment.

I don't really like cold weather in the winter but I like the money with USPS, which will require me to be away from my family overnight elsewhere. Who will watch my kids overnight when my husband won't be available? Also I don't have the right vehicle to do mail delivery, and I'm a petite person.

So should I take the job with less pay and suitable hours or the outside job with higher pay?

My checking account was hit 3 times for $80.00, twice in one day, then once a few days later. I was lucky that I check my account every few days and found out quick. The bank told me that someone got my debit card # and was using it as a charge card without my pin number. The bank told me that the money was being transfered to account in Saudi Arabia to a phone company called SAWA, that`s all the information they had. The card company had to refund me the $240.00. I had to close that debit card and got a new one. I don`t know how my number was stolen but I have a feeling that the week before we went on vacation to Virginia Beach and maybe at a restaurant, that`s the only time my debit card was out of my sight. I have talked to other people online that the same exact thing happened to, same amount, same company and always 2 times a day. I was lucky to catch it before the 2nd $80.00 was taken the 2nd day. I would like to know it this happened to them and to tell people to be careful.

Hi there,

We are needing to break our lease due to the fact that my husband got a job promotion and relocated to another city. We agreed to an 18 month lease and still have 6 months left however when looking at our lease (which I think is the weakest lease ever) there is no place where is says we agreed to an 18 month lease, it gives the date we sign the lease (just the date no year is listed) and there is a line that in order to receive our deposit back a minimum of 18 months rent must be paid first but no where on the lease does it say the date the lease is supposed to end. We talked to our landlord last night and he is already talking about taking us to court if we break the lease. He has been a real pain ever since we moved in, which brings me to another question when we first moved in he shut our water off, he claims it was an accident and he only told the water company to switch it but the water company told us he said to turn it off. Does this give us a reason to break the leas
