No donation to a political party or to a specific candidate is tax-deductible. This includes the "$3 to the Presidential Election Fund" that some people check off on their tax return (checking this box neither reduces nor increases your refund or balance due). I"ve attached the IRS link to Publication 526, which discusses itemized deductions in some depth.

Political contributions are never deductible on your federal return, however, some states do allow a deduction for political contributions. I know Oklahoma does - you may want to check with your state taxing authority.
