my buddy lost his wallet at the club and now doesnt have any ids to cash his check

If you have a bank account with money in it to cover the check, your bank will deposit the paycheck endorsed over to you and give you the cash.

If you present a 2-party check at your bank they will let you deposit it but will put a hold on it for 2 to 7 days depending upon the location of the bank that it was drawn on.
Your buddy should get himself a bank account. Then he won't have to worry about cashing his paycheck.

He does not need ID to deposit it in his bank account .
Then he can pick up a new ATM card at the same time .
You can do it but if there are issues ,
Your bank will rip you a new one ,
Then you will be sorry .
