We request that you come in appropriate attire and that you are fresh and prepared for the interview. As mentioned, the interview will be held by one of the directors of the company and will be a group interview consisting of 4- 5 applicants. We will let you know on Thursday afternoon whether or not you have been successful

I'm a new wife and soon to be new mother and pretty much my only responsibility in the house is to pay the bills every month. every month i sit down and want to make a budget but i dont know the best way to do it.
its easy to make a colum of the expenses you have but when the amount of them changes every month i dont know how much to allow for each of them (i.e. phone bill goes up with overages, or utilities are higher in the extreme hot or cold months). so i dont have a question really i just thought someone out there might share what their system is for paying bills every month.
i thought maybe i could budget certain bills for a certain amount and then put how much we actually paid for them in another colum? i dont know! it drives me nuts! help!

I was the victim of a hit-and-run 3 years ago. The driver was sent to prison (he had other crimes besides the hit-and-run) and was ordered to pay me $32,000. He is out on parole now, and I'm having trouble getting anyone to help me collect. He's a young guy, no assets at this point (that we know of). Anyway...right now I need the money very badly because I'm in the process of moving out of state and am in between jobs. I would like to sell the judgement, even for a lesser amount, but the companies that pop up on internet searches are not responding to my inquiries. Does anyone have other ideas? Thanks.

I'm just now getting around to doing my taxes :(

I have about 17k in hospital bills and I've paid off about 6k.

Can I write that 6k off?

Otherwise I'm going to owe a lot of money.

I make about 50k a year, single, no other deductions :(

My fiance just hit me with a big one. He has $20, 000 in student loans that he never told me about. I don't want to start our marriage in debt so I want to get this paid off as soon as possible. I have no clue what to do, but I know being this far in debt is not good. We own a home, and there is 60k equity in the home should we sell and move into something smaller? Refinance?

I think not.
My brother works for the State of Maryland University. They are employed by the state, but refuse to give me a state ID number. The W-2 shows the FEIN number in place of the State Id.
Please let me know if you have heard of this problem. Otherwise I think there is a mistake here.

I heard some where that after so long you shouldn't pay because it is going to be on your credit anyway and it may be better to just wait 7 years to they come off your credit report. What should I do?

on Page 2 of W-4, " Deductions and Adjustments Worksheet", questions number 4, it asks me to Enter an estimate of your 2007 adjustments to income, including alimony, deductible IRA contributions, and student loan interest. For me, I have 401k, medical insurance, and FSA that's deductible. So what number should I enter for this line? Add up all the deductible, or my salary minus the deductible (or AGI)? Thanks.

I have very little credit and I am tired of living in apartments. I want to purchase a house but I've heard I have to have good credit and at least a credit score of 700. I'm at 560 right now and to increase the credit score will take a long time. I just want to know is if I get it to a 600 will I be able to get a loan for a house? Thanks for all your answers and suggestions

One question is "What risks have you taken since you started working here?" I don't know how to answer this question. i am an administrative assistant. I answer phones, run errands, and do a little accounting. I don't think I've taken any risks.
