No, you do not need to have an ID.....You will just need to go and pay your local Post Office a visit, with the amount plus like .75 to every dollar, or depending upon what the amount of the money order is.... I think its .90 cents to every $200.00 dollars! I can't be real sure about that, however! Just look up your local Post Office, on Yahoo's Yellow Pages, and give them a jingle, and just ask them how much it is, for the amount you will be needing....That way your sure not to leave home, without the correct amount, you know......Let your fingers do the walking!! Smile!! Trust me, there is no stress involved whatsoever, in doing this, except having alot of patience, regarding the long lines Post Offices, sometimes have!! Otherwise you are good to go!!! Go to the closest Post Office, they sell them there. Stand in line till it is your turn and Tell them you need a Postal Money order for $X.00. As for as I know you do not neet any id to by a money order. I used one when ordering a copy of my birth certificate from outside the country. They didn't look at mine.

no ID needed.. go to ur local post office tell them u need to get a money order for however much u need and they will get it for u. cost about a dollar
