I have a face to face interview on thursday with XLN Telecom. any 1 know what will happen! need help!!?

I passed the telephone interview then i got this message:

We request that you come in appropriate attire and that you are fresh and prepared for the interview. As mentioned, the interview will be held by one of the directors of the company and will be a group interview consisting of 4- 5 applicants. We will let you know on Thursday afternoon whether or not you have been successful

A group interview it says. does that mean 4-5 people will interview me? And i really want this job so i really need some tips and help. thanx

You have already answered part of your question by saying that it will consist of 4-5 APPLICANTS, not interviewers! It will be an interview to whittle the number of applicants down to the winner. They will probably involve the group in activities to see how you perform in a team environment. Typically dividing the group in 2 for role play as "customer" versus "salesperson" or whatever you have applied for. Show enthusiasm, be alert and interested in others in the group, and SMILE!

You should know that these interviews of XLN Telecom are actually for door to door sales. You will have a manager talking to you very enthusiastically and with many buzzwords and you will probably be chosen along with a couple more candidates in a way that seems too easy.
They will mention the tons of money you can make all the time and they will make it only semi clear that there is no basic salary and there are only commissions.
Then or the next day they will make you follow them from door to door to watch and learn their hard sakes techniques and then you're on your own.
You will probably work for a few days making no money because they visit the same locations at least twice a month and people are sick of them and then they will blame your 'sales talent' for the failure and proceed put a new person in your place to work for free just as you did. These interviews take place every week so beware of scum like that.
If you don't believe me just notice how they give very little information and no clear answers and they always stress the fact that you should just trust them and you will know more in time.
Sorry if you had high hopes for this, I understand how this feels but it's better to learn from other people's mistakes than from your own.

Could be any thing. However I suspect they will talk to you all as a group then individually, not four or five people interviewing you. There maybe a panel, I just don't know.

Suggestions:
dress smart or casually smart, skirt reasonable length, little cleavage on show, NO chewing gum, if you have piercings remove them, just a couple of 'finger' rings and sensible earrings.

If they ask a question that you don't know the answer to, eg. something to do with the running of the company say you don't know, be honest.
