This question is for my neice she is in her 30's--She worked full time, had knee surgery five years ago. Quit that job and went back to school for her MBA. She completed her MBA in June with honors from a California State Uninversity. She was working part time at the college, student loan, and had surgery again. Now she is working for a non-profit organazation, no medical insurance, paying back her student loan. The doctor told her that she will need surgery within one year.
Question--is there any organazition that would cover pre-existing conditions?

I have 26 years into my career and plan on retiring in ~20 years. If I can decide on where I would like to retire I may be able to transfer within the company to a location suited for my retirement.

I was recently working for a mexican restuarant as a waiter. I made at least $40 on one day, but only got $10. They say it is all my fault and the computer never makes mistakes. Also, I was told that I would get my credit card tips on my check, but they aren't there. I worked for three days and quit because I was getting screwed out of the money I know I made. what can I do?

Could someone give me the best letter possible to just about guarantee a one hundred dollar a week raise.I am a single mom with a 13 year old son.Every little thing is coming up yearbook sports, extra money for movies etc etc.I am barely making ends meet with mortgage payments,utilities gas each month.I am single and don't have any dates right now and need to have a little money for social activities etc.I am grateful for what I do have and know a lot of people are less fortunate.Please help me with this.Thanks!! i have no degree and am in a dead end job. we dont get raises beacuse we have incentive as to what we sell. i tried looking for a good paying job but you have to have a degree or it doesnt work around my schedule with the kids. been here for 7yrs and dont see a way out. tried everything.

No one likes telemarketers... whether they're calling to sell you something, ask for donations, or whatever... So, why are they still around? I can't name one person who actually likes receiving these phone calls.

Same with junk mail from the US postal service & your local internet provider... Who falls for this crap? Who welcomes it? Why do people still generate it, especially the snail mail?

Isn't this just a giant waste of resources, time, & money?

Why does it continue?

This company said for a fee of $388 they can obtain for me a government grant for first time home buyers that would cover the entire cost of the purchase price of the house. Now I know government grants are for real, but the whole purchase price of a house? I don't know! I have heard of down payments and closing costs for grants, but all of it? Maybe, maybe not. Please anyone out there who know anything about government grants and or this particular company, I would very much apreciate a response. Thank you very much.
