It is a lunch business where I prepare lunches for offices on daily bases and deliver it to them. I'm thinking something along the brown bag lunch service, but it doesn't seem so creative or appealing. Please help me if you have any ideas.

We have several corporations we run payroll for, and I accidentally paid a semimonthly tax deposit under the wrong federal id number and bank account. The tax has been paid, but applied to the wrong entity. I have made a new payment today for the correct corp and will apply future taxes towards the overpaid corp's liability. I just wondered since I know of the problem now if I can alert the IRS before filing Schedule B, or do I have to wait until they receive the 4th quarter report and post it and then send me a letter saying the tax is paid late, yadda yadda yaddda.... before I can send the explanation.

I couldn't find anything on IRS website that addressed this.

...or would you hang in there (barely making enough money for gas!) for the sake of not ruining your employment record?
i just started a job recently working from 8pm-3 am sometimes 4 am at a bar cocktail waitressing in the hopes of becoming a bartender.
however, it isn't earning as much as i expect. i get lots of cheap customers who don't tip. and i only go home with $40 on a 7-8 hour shift!
thats like $5-$6 an hour! having to waste your breath talking to cheap people who don't tip! >=(
i've only been at the job for a month--so i'm afraid it will make me look bad just to quit (for a good f*cking reason though!)
what would YOU DO?

I have like 4 rings, a necklace and a watch that were given to me by an ex and I'm ready to get rid of them. I just don't know what to do with them now, and I'm interested in how much pawn shops actually pay you for your jewelry. I'm taking it in tomorrow to see what they say. Does anyone have a suggestion?
