and have the negative info placed back on your report after the 30 day investigation through the credit buro was done?Or are creditors only allowed to that within the 30 day disput period?

The previous answers are wrong.

Creditors can reinsert negative reports to your history at any time. However, the credit reporting agency must send you a notice within 5 days that this is being done, and you have the right to request another investigation.

Creditors have the 30 day period after an investigation starts to respond to the dispute. Once it is off it should stay off. However it is always possible--just keep an eye on it. Keep all the paperwork of where you have disputed the items and that they took it off.

No, if the creditor removed them, they wouldn't put them back on your credit report. That wouldn't make sense.

Just make sure they removed them, and that you have a letter from the creditor in writing. And save a copy in a safe place, you may need it in the future if the creditor wasn't honest. Or played the typical corporate games they are known for playing.

If they do and don't give you advance notice, they are in violation of FCRA Part (A)(5)(B)(ii) ($1000 fine). Most people don't know about their rights though and do not stand up for their selves.
