Honestly, it seems like no matter how much money I make I can never catch up on my bills and my debt just keeps getting bigger with each passing day! I have tried a financial advisor but 1) i have to finances for them to advise me on and 2) they don't understand...they have money! I really don't know what to do anymore, I am going crazy! I don't think there are debt advisors besides those debt consolidation companies but do they really help or do they just put you in even more debt? Does anyone have any advice? Or is this what it is...the rich get rich and the poor..well we get even more poor and theres really nothing we can do about it?

I am planning to open a dating website. Any suggestions for a catchy name? I'd also like input on what you'd like to see on this site. Which features would you like to see that you don't see on other sites?

i interviewed for this office job last week,they called me & told me welcome aboard,they'd like to hire me.i took a drug test on friday but they have not called me back yet.i would think they would have the results by now.
should i keep waiting for them to get back to me or should i pursue other opportunities??

Ok-dokey~

My dad died 6 months ago, my mum is receiving bereavement benefit. She also has cancer.
On advice, she applied for INCOME SUPPORT. 2 months later we had still heard nothing about her claim, they then said she may be entitles to INCAPACITY BENEFIT due to the cancer. So, she sent off the medical certificates from the doctor to them and we are still waiting....5 months later!
They keep fobbing us off when we call...she has had to cancel her direct debts as the bank will no longer accept them...she is owed payments back to 18th June when my dad died, will they bother to even fulfil this to her??

Can someone please give some advice on how to get things moving, she has been diagnosed as having a nervous breakdown thru all this but Income Support and Incapacity Benefit JUST DON'T CARE!

Please, please help.

I filed Chapter 13 in 10/04. Since then my income has nearly doubled. I want to increase my monthly payments to end my Chapter 13 sooner than the 5 years I have. I am curently paying 1% of secured debt. Will that increase? What if I sell my house, will the 1% increase then?

I am 63. Been disabled since 1980 when I got injured at work. I have had 3 back surgies(5disc & 2 nerves.) I was forced to go on SSD after my workers comp ran out in 1983. At first medica was pretty good but then my wife ( a LNA) put me on her insurence because medica was covering less &less of my medical, They would not pay for a heart operation because they said it was not a medical emergency. I got the procedure but 2 years later after fighting in court but not by medica but by my private insurance. I still have medica but the only thing they pay is my deductable$ 5. I spend about $650 A month on meds which they use to pay half but pay nothing any more. Is this what we can expect if we have goverment run insurance for every one?

I just started a new job as an office clerk yesterday. My boss makes me strip down naked before I can begin work so that he can inspect my body. He says that this is standard procedure to make sure that I dont have any open wounds or recording devices on my person. So far I have spoken with 15 of my other coworkers and none of them have to go thru this. Is my boss taking advantage of me or is this just a part of orientation??

Hey guys, we have a local American General loan place here in town and was going to check it out. I want to pay off all my cc bills ($4000) in one shot because its killing me how Im tryin to clean up the mess I made. Anyways, I had less than average credit, but I am will to take a 20-20% interest rate just clear this up. Has anyone dealt with American General before?
