I want to get a color tattoo, but I heard that you have to get the color redone every few years. Is this true? Are there any colors that are more fade resistant than others?

i want to "paint"/stain my skin with using a stencle i made. what household items could i potentailly use?
ive tried hydrogen peroxide, self tanner, and sharpie on my skin

would food colouring work? or hair dye?
is there a way to make an ink, permanent?

i want to get a colored flower on my lower stomache next to my hip.. not on the actual bone. Im a skinny girl and i consider myself having a pretty high tolerence for pain but im wondering how much pain you think this tattoo would be..does anybody have a tattoo there?

im 17 years old and have wanted a tattoo for the longest time now. I would like to get a tattoo that would symbolize life after death. I thought about getting a phoenix and just decided that it had been done too much. I'm a strong believer in reincarnation and would like a more original approach to this idea. I already have two tattoos, but they're on my back and easy to hide. However, I'd like to get one on my arm (which will be visible in the summer) and one on the back of my neck (which will be visible when I put my hair up. I'd also like to get a very small nose ring. I'd like to hear from anyone who works in an office. I work, where the dress is business casual. Should I do this or will it hinder me getting a job, promoted, etc.? I'd love to hear from people who have tattoos/piercing in these places on their bodies and have corporate jobs. What is your experience? Would you recommend I do it?

I need some tips on going from a standard earring size to a 14 guage bcr type of jewlery.

I don't know if I'm supposed to just go for it and try to put it in, or do I need to get a piercing needle to sort of help ease it in there? I don't know if the bcr will go in very easily since it doesn't exactly have a point, kwim?

If there's someone out there (with experience please) who can give me step-by-step instructions... I'd appreciate it.

I had my eyebrow pierced for about 7 months, before it was very obvious the skin the was pushing it out (it became painful at this point too). If I were to repierce it would it be rejected again? Is it bad to pierce the same spot over again?

Any advice would be great.

Ok you get your two points, but unless you've got a well informed opinion about tattoos..shush!!

I've noticed that the more open minded people on here tend to have tattoos and piercings, and that includes the "older" ones! Gypsy is my hero! I hope to have her attitude when I'm her age!

Anyway, feel free to rant at me about how I'm "not honouring" my body, and I'll show you a thousand ways you probably treat yours worse...unless you're a strict organic recycling type person, in which case, kudos!
