I know regular foundation won't do it, but is there any heavy duty type, like theatre makeup, that may work?

Dermablend brand makeup is said to work wonders for covering tattoos. You can get more information about it at http://www.dermablend.com

Yes....heavy camouflage type concealer makeups. You need to go see an esthetician that specializes in that. You might want to try a store like Ulta - they have things like dermablend, etc. but that brand does not always cover. Covermark is another. Iknow some who combine both of those. There are many out there. The key is the right shade or combination of shades, blending out the edges, and the right powder. You need to use the recommended setting powder so it will last.

It is great for wedding coverups or hiding tattoos from the relatives over the holidays, LOL!

Yes there is a product I know..I do not remember the name of it but my nephews wife used it to cover a tatoo on her back for her wedding day..the lady at the bridal store told her about it. Maybe ask someone there.

Esther Lauder used to make a very heavy concealer to disguise scars and discoloration - you might want to check if it is still available.
