I would'nt choose a design off a site, choose something totally unique an personal to you.
I'd never want to walk down a street an see the same design on someone else an it looked better on them or think I wish I'd gone to that artist.
It can be addictive once you start.
Don't go cheap either, you pay by the hour for quality work an when you think its going to be there for a long time you want the best.
Be carefull with green, as its the only color that can't be removed by laser.
There is some new tech coming on to the market that does remove all colours, be warned its expensive an just as painfull as a tattoo.
Not trying to disscourage you dude, just giving advice.
I used to work in a Tattoo studio and I'd say the same to anyone who walked through the door.
Hope its of some use.

It would have really helped if you had mentioned what you think you "kinda" want to get. Don't just pick some random design off of the Internet. Try and find someone to draw out your idea. You also need to think long and hard about any design you are thinking of. A tattoo lasts a lifetime, so make sure you'll want it for a lifetime.

Let me know what kinda tattoo work you want i can up lots of tattoo flash on my 360 or even send you some to your e-mail.As a first tattoo i would personally start a sleeve or chest jap bicep piece.Keep your back clean if you get the tattoo bug you may want a full back piece in the future. If you need a site with bits and bobs check out www.tattooflash.info or deviant art they have some good stuff. It's an idea to download a decent art package and spend some time customising flash you come across online that way you get an original piece.Good Luck mate.

When I wanted a tattoo I looked all over the web, but didn't actually decide until I went to the shop and looked. I didn't have to look long either, a pretty purple flower just *spoke* to me, and I knew it was what I wanted. I didn't care that it was flash, or that it was on the wall of the shop. My tattoo has made me happier than anything else I've ever done for my body. I hope your tattoo makes you just as happy!
Good Luck!!

what do you want? you don't have to find a website of tattoo designs to get a tattoo. i actually prefer tattoos that are not flash. custom tattoos are the way to go.

most tattoo parlours have a large selection of tattoos to choose from in there. if you have an idea of what you want just talk to who's doing it and they'll be able to do a sketch for you

i think it is better if you think of some thimg uniqe to your self. it is the same feeling as if you see some one else wearing your fevorite T if you see some one with the same tattoo, which is highly posible if you pic adesign from a free site. Ask a freind who knows about gothic arts or hindu or may be japnease drawings. u mite find some thing meaning full to u n most probebly u'll be the only one having it.

if u go to a good tattooist, they can draw a design of what you want. Most have books of their previous art works, maybe you'll get some idea's from there.

Design your own; if you have an idea of what you want take it in, they are very helpful and will give you the info and advice that you might want or need. I thought about mine, told them my idea and we worked together getting what I wanted, it looks great!
