Tattoos - December 2006

I have my design it says I (Love Hart) STRUAN i want it to cross my sholder blades from sholder to sholder on my back.I don't mind pain im heavily inked already.Do i use steel when im making the stencil if you know what i mean? How long should it be held to the skin i rekon i could withstand 30secs its logical to me that that should be enough as i dont want to melt straght through the skin.Should i use a steel brush to pick the scar/brand as they do in scarification or should it be left to heal?I really want to research this some more but any help would be much appreciated with points for the best answer.Thanks Kaledonioi

I'm having a tattoo done this weekend and the artist suggested either my shoulder blade or between my shoulders. The tattoo is a four leaf clover done out of Celtic knot work with Irish Pride written in Celtic lettering. I know I'm going to put it in one of the two places just not sure of where the better placement is going to be its going to be about 3 1/2 - 4 inches around and black and grey.

I want to get a small colorful butterfly with my name in script underneath it (my name has 8 letters). I want color in the tattoo (about 4 colors). And I want it to fit on my upper arm or wrist. If there are any professional artist out there or just some who knows from experience please let me know your oppinion. Thanks.

I'm going to be living in the Dominican Republic for a month this summer, and I'm going to be living with a family and traveling all over the country. I just got an industrial piercing a few days after Christmas, and my question is, do you think it will be healed in time for me to go to the Dominican? I will be leaving at the beginning of July, and we're going to be doing lots of swimming and activities.

I want a tattoo on my shoulder blade, with two Kanji symbols inserted into a 'tribal flame' but I'm worried about the size? I don't want my entire top corner of my back covered, but I also don't want the tattoo squeezed so small that you can't see the Kanji. Any thoughts on if this is very difficult , or if I'm just over thinking it?

i have 2 snake yates machines with 10 wrap coils all shimed and ready to go what my problem is is 1 is a liner and 1 is a shader and i was told nickle and dime adjustments but when i do it im not getting solid results im getting clatter and out of tune. so do i do the nick and dime settings off the coils or off the points? or do i tune the machines so they run smooth or hard or what? this isnt like my time machine i have were i never have to do anything with it except make sure both machines are all tight and replace the springs and what not. anyways if u are gonna leave a negative responce to this about me not tattooing or some crap dont respond please! if u are gonna give me the advice im looking for ill be very greatful thanks

When I was young I got a tattoo that I regret getting and I need to get it removed. I have no idea how much it will cost, where to go to get it removed, and if it would hurt. Most importantly, I need to know how much it would cost me and how long it would take to remove it. It's pretty small, about half an inch length and an inch width.

well i want to stretch my ears only to a 12g at most for now. posisbly a 10 or 8g later..

but im buying jewelry. im using a captive bead ring for the 14g and wondering if i need to buy a taper to stretch the 14 to a 12g? or shoudl i just ease the 12g jewelry through once its time?

i have all the jewelry ready to order but dont know if i shodl buy a taper for my last step?

shoudl i just buy two different tapers? one for the 14g an done for the 12g?


i know to wait in between stretches and know abotu piercing blow out and all that. but any other experiences you have you may want to share with me?

i'm thinking about getting a tattoo on the back of my neck. i have wanted a tattoo for soo long but i don't want to get in a place that everyone has already (lowerback....) i have a small design already picked out that i really like, and long hair so it can be covered when it needs to be. just want to know some opinions about that location..and i know it's going to hurt like hell..but how bad is it really (this is my 1st!)..and if anyone has any other ideas for small designs let me know!

i am and as long as i can remember have been an OSU buckeyes fan.. i was considering getting a tattoo of the team logo inbetween my shoulder blades below the neck.
