I heard that tattoo artists use stensils when giving a tattoo, I found some really cool rose tattoos on the internet and I wanted to get one of them so can I take it in? Does the whole stensil thimg mean that you have to pick a design that's in the shop or can you bring a design of your own?

im not sure if anyone can explain to me the amt. of pain that comes whith getting a tattoo on the back shoulder (blade)...on a rate from one to ten ten being the absolute worst...example for ten would have to be slow and painful knife cutting into your back shoulder.
and one would have to be like a moscouito bite...aka pain and irritation comes latter

accualy would it kind a be like the fealing ya get when your foot falls asleap u know the needles in the foot and all??
anywho answere the best ya can k.
someone with experience with tattoos would be better to answere for this ? thanx!

p.s. the tat would only be about 3 by 3 inch or somethin small like that

I'm getting a tattoo in the coming weeks and was curious as to whether it is better to get one on the inside of my ankle, or the outside. It's not going to be a huge tattoo, something simple and YES meaningful. I'm not asking about pain tolerance or whatnot, but information on that would be welcome. I just was wondering which is more the norm or looks better. Thanks!

I refuse to get a tattoo with my G/F name on it but I do agree on getting matching ones. Any recomendations? Nothing girly or stupid please, just recomend something that would show people we love each other.

I am getting my first tattoo and it's just going to be my nickname or a rose and I am getting it on the outside of my right leg near the bottom, a few inches above my ankle but not on the anke if that makes any since. I heard tattoos hurt more when their on the bone so it's not going to be on the bone. Has anyone had a tattoo in this spot and how bad did it hurt.

I have always wanted a tattoo with lettering. I like the style of a certain font but I don't know what it's called. A great example of it is the font used on the knuckles on the CD cover for MxPx's "Lets Rock". It's also used with some old style tattoos like pinup girls and swallows. But I want to know the name of the font. Can anyone help me?!

I have a friend who recently got a tattoo on her arm. She has a moderate amount of dark hair on her arm and wants to bleach it so the tattoo is showcased as best as possible.

I told her I was leery of putting bleach repeatedly on a tattoo. I'm not sure, but wouldn't that have even a slight effect on the vibrancy of the tattoo?
I know the ink is embedded deep into the skin....am I being overly cautious as my friend says?

I would like it to represent the brother and sister bond we had and the relationship we were very close. I have one tattoo already the Charmed tattoo respresenting my closeness to my sister Cheryl and my two best friends friends I consider my sisters too. I would like it to be a wiccan type tattoo too.
