I have always wanted a tattoo with lettering. I like the style of a certain font but I don't know what it's called. A great example of it is the font used on the knuckles on the CD cover for MxPx's "Lets Rock". It's also used with some old style tattoos like pinup girls and swallows. But I want to know the name of the font. Can anyone help me?!

I doubt you'll find the exact same one, since being a graphic designer I know alot of fonts are designed for a specific purpose and aren't made widely available. But if you try 1000 fonts or something you're going to find something similar, either htat or try drawing out my hand from it or get your tattoo artist to do it, that's what they're there for.

Its some kind of germanic gothic font. I would recommend that you avoid letters. The best tattoos are those that are symbolic, not so obvious, because they are permanent, while your ideas may not be. Anyway, good luck.

try checking at font sites to find it!
try fontshop.com.. or any of the major online font shops.
