You should ask the person who is tattooing you how much they charge! Honestly though, WHY YOUR NECK!? Is there no other part of you're body that it would look better? What kind of job do you have, or what kind of job will you get with a tattoo on your neck! Get your daughters name on your body, but rethink the location! Imagine you at 40-80 with a big tat on your neck! LOL! Don't do it!

Words themselves dont cost much anyway. It should not cost more than 80 bucks.
But, keep in mind, the price depends on the location, detail, size, and tattoo artist/shop. I know some that charge by the hour and if your tat takes less than and hour the cut the price, and then some have set prices depending on the tat, no the location. Each shop is ran differently, so I say shop around.
My friend has her daughters name tatted on her neck and I think it is gorgeous. You see it when she sweeps her hair up, and I think its simple and cute. I would never do it, but I defintiely think it was a sweet thing to do.

The back of your neck is a wonderful place for your daughter's name. Price shouldn't be your first concern though. You must see examples of several artists work. Also, as it is in a place you can't ready see, be sure to bring a friend to be sure it is place correctly, you wouldn't want it crooked!
I'm having one the back of my neck, taking one of my favourite movie lines "The World Is Yours" (around the world, well sun, not on the blimp)and my kids names hidden in a small landscape with things that remind me of when they were young. My daughter got her first tat at 15 and she made the mistake of low cost instead of quality. Heavy handed (con) artist is costing her more to have it fixed, she the 19, son is 22.
Best of luck, enjoy it and wear it with pride.

It all depends on your tattoo artist and the size. Every place has different prices. Ex:I get a small tattoo (anywhere) it could cost me $50 at my tattoo place but the place next door could charge $100 for the same size. You should just call or visit your tattoo artist and ask.
Hope this helps and happy tattooing!!

Size and intricacy determine how long it will take. Most tattoo parlors charge between $75-$100 an hour. My guess would be between $100-$175

It depends... some places charge for the amount of letters... some charge for the design say perhaps you wanted the name and some design around it... it all depends on the shop.
