I really think 13 is a bit too young for a navel piercing...every place I know you have to be atleast 16 with a parent for something like that with good reason. Navel piercings are HARD and LONG to heal and I really don't think a 13 year old (no matter how wonderful you think yours is) is old enough to take well enough care of it, plus it seems more like an "adult" piercing to me...Tell her to wait a few more years and then take her to get it if she still wants it done.

Think about what you are doing. I don't think very many places are going to let someone that young get a body piercing. She's 13! Let her be a kid and not perceived as something else!

I'm sure there is somewhere in St Mark's place. But why not try some non pierced belly button jewelry first. Sometimes those piercings can grow out and be really nasty.

most places wont let parents sign for piercings because the kid is not thought to be old enough and it could lead to infection good luck

personally i dont think kids that young should get anything except ears pierced, its too much to take care of and it will get infected. but where ever you go make sure you bring proof shes your kid or they probably wont do it

That is way too young to get her navel pierced. Start with ears! I wouldn't be doing that, at that age!!

Bring her to a nice department store to do it and then buy her a litle keepsake gift there and have lunch with her. Where she gets it pierced doesn't matter, what matters is that she's with her mom and you're building a great foundation with your daughter.
