i have 2 snake yates machines with 10 wrap coils all shimed and ready to go what my problem is is 1 is a liner and 1 is a shader and i was told nickle and dime adjustments but when i do it im not getting solid results im getting clatter and out of tune. so do i do the nick and dime settings off the coils or off the points? or do i tune the machines so they run smooth or hard or what? this isnt like my time machine i have were i never have to do anything with it except make sure both machines are all tight and replace the springs and what not. anyways if u are gonna leave a negative responce to this about me not tattooing or some crap dont respond please! if u are gonna give me the advice im looking for ill be very greatful thanks

im not going to leave you some dumb answer about dont do it but if you do not know the machine mechanics DO NOT MESS WITH THEM. it can be something as simple as the back spring being at a 5 degree angle originally and not being now (liek with the time machines). If you yourself are not experienced find someone who is, even if its just emailing artists on an ink forum and have them talk you through it. You will make more damage than help playing with it yourself if you are unsure. theres a lot that can be wrong besides little adjustments and even if those are right there might be something besides that is wrong. Im lucky enough to work with a crew that used to build time machines so mechanics isnt a problem. i can give you some emails of a few in the know if you get really stuck. Gd Luck.
