I could probably if I tried hard enough. In other words, you really want to use a professional for many reasons.
This tattoo will show forever! It will be very hard to conceal with that location if the need should ever arise.
A half-assed tattoo will look horrible there and no matter whatever else you ever get, that will show foremost and forefront - be sure it will be exquisite!!
Tattoo ink goes only under the top layer of skin, into the dermis and not into veins. (Didn't want to scare you)

The only veins that tattoos puncture are the tiny tiny little vessels that are all over under the first couple of layers of skin. It is the same as if you got a little scratch. A tattoo needle (if used correctly) only goes through the first few layers of skin. There is nothing to worry about whatsoever.
As far as catching anything from getting a tattoo, that will only happen if you go to a bad place to get it done. Get a tattoo out of someone's house, or out of a rat hole of a shop, and you can expose yourself to risk. Go to a shop that is health board certified and ask to see that everything is sterilized and even ask them to show you their sterilization equipment (i.e. autoclave), and you will be just fine. The number one concern is cross contamination, and as long as you are in a reputable shop, that is not an issue.
I say go for it and get your ink and wear it proudly. I am sure it will be beautiful! Just ask questions and if you do not feel comfortable in a shop, leave and go to another one. ;)

Lots of shops won't do white ink, idk why. 60 also seems like a lot for just the shop minimum. As far as the veins, it's not possible, it does make the hand just because when it rubs on the skin over the vein, but it doesn't go deep enough to hit a vein unless they stab it into her. I really like the tattoo idea and it would be pretty in all white ink, but the vein thing is nothing to be worried about =) ♥

It's fashionable, so Just keep thinking, it's really not the same thing as sticking narcotics into your veins, and you'll feel safe. I've known nurses that stuck a needle right through my vein. It only bleeds internally for an hour....so?

No..When my mom got hers on her wrist, the man was very clear that the tattoo needle is not long enough to reach the vein, that the dimension of space we see from the outside is different and in porportions, the needle doesn´t reach!!! I wanna double tattoos on my wrists too, btw ::D

tatto needles do not go very deep into your skin. It is true that tattoos can bleedI(i have one on my arm and yes it bled a little but nothing likem you seem to have been led to believe. It does not go through al the layers of your skin. just go to a reputable place and you should be fine

i have never heard of any veins being punctured while tattooing. this year i got both of my feet tattooed and there are way more veins in my feet than in wrists and i had no problems what so ever. check em out and see for yourself. both pictures were taken minutes after the tattoos were finished:

No,the tattoos needle on scraches the surface enough under your skin to depsosite the color and keep it there.Even if somehow the ink got into your blood stream there whould be no risk, becuase the ink is non toxic.
