All tattoos hurt to some degree. If someone tells you they don't, they either 1) have an incredible pain tolerance or 2) they're lying. Now even though they hurt, the pain can be tolerated.
Depending on where you get your tattoo certainly is a factor in the amount of pain. The fatty areas of your body hurt a bit less. (When I got a small tattoo on my breast, I thought it hurt less than any others I have.) Also, the amount of detail you have in the tattoo affects the amount of pain you have to deal with. If the tattoo has a lot of detail, the artist will have to work over the same area again and again and again, constantly reopening the already wounded area. Hence more detail, more pain.
If you are deciding on a tattoo based on the pain factor, then you're not ready for one. A tattoo is something that is permanent. If a tattoo is right for you, then the pain factor becomes a minor inconvience. It's something that you suck up and deal with. I hate getting tattoos done, but I love the finished product. . .so I'll sit in that chair for a few hours and pay someone to inflict pain on me then go home, heal and enjoy my work of art.

All tattoos hurt when being applied. This is because they use needles to inject ink under your skin. The amount of pain varies from person to person and from place to place on the body. The one on my lower back took about two hours to do. By then end of it I was getting cranky since it felt like the guy was hitting the same spot over and over. My upper arm hurt a little less. It's like getting stung over and over.
IF you really want a tattoo, do some research, such as - does the parlor look clean, do they use clean steralized needles for each customer, do they use fresh ink. Do they give good after tattoo care instructions. Remember this is a permanent thing. Make darn sure of what you want and where you want it.

The more nerve ending there are the more pain there is. You do the math. The question you should be asking is would it be totally trashy to get a tattoo on your breast. The answer is yes. Also you won't be able to breast feed if that's ever going to be an issue for you. Also, your tattoo is going to look really nasty if you ever get pregnant. First your breasts get big and then they deflate, not attractive with a saggy tattoo. I would seriously reconsider this idea.

Any tattoo, anywhere, is going to hurt. That is just the truth. Tatttoos involve needles piercing your skin.
That being said, I understand that some areas are much more sensitive than others. My daughter has two tattoos; one on her lower back and one on the inside of her arm, near her wrist. Although the one on her back is larger, and filled in with color, she said the one on her arm was much more painful as it was being applied. Other people I know with tattoos also comment on how painful ones placed on areas closer to bone, like wrists and ankles can be.
so, maybe the breast would not be as bad as say, your ankle?
What are you thinking of getting?

Didn't hurt me, because your getting it on a fatty area not a bony area. But I don't recommend getting one there only because after time your skin stretches like when having a baby and it's not ever the same. I recomment the back, like behind your shoulder.

Yes. Well it really boils down to you pain tollerance. Getting it on the nip would hurt like a motha, but comparing it to on your ankle its nothing. Fleshy part hurt less than parts where its boney. Good Luck!

Yeah! It's gonna hurt dummie; and when it's new it's gonna look cute but when you get older and your **** sag it's gonna look like **** at a time in your life when your gonna need all the help you can get in the looks department. (We all get old) And remember; that tatoo don't just wash off. If you just gotta get a tatoo, get on the web and buy a bunch of the same temporary ones. As one wears, replace it and see how long you look at the same **** before it gets old.
