well they usually always pierce it with a 14g. so you cant relaly pick and choose withe that. they will tell you all abotu the aftercare. (anti bacterial soap, aftercare pierce soltion and the magnificent sea salt soaks!)
dont knwo what color will look nice but just pick out somethign you will liek for the first 3 months since you not be able to change the jewelry. you will have a larger than normla piece in to accomidate the swellign of the newepiercing. but you can go back tot he piercer after two weeks and get it downsized to the approprite sized jewelry since most o fthe swelling wouldve gone down
they will tell you the aftercare(they should even without you asking) and it will always be a 14g.
you need to use specialsalt too. sea salt (non-iodized) table salt that is iodized will only irritate it..
never ue neosporin(ointments) rubbing alcohol, or hydrogen peroxide on your piercing. this is very irritating to the piercing will cause a longer healing duration and cause infection.

get a 14 gage belly ring. you should get a bue belly ring. and dont be scared when you get it done cuz it actually to my own surprise doesnt really hurt. just a little pinch. after u get it pierced put some type of neosporin on it so it can heal. wash it with some soap each day sometimes 2-3 times a day. the aftercare isnt really that tough though. its all worth it in the end. the person who pierces your belly button should tell you all the info that you need to know. GOOD LUCK!

i've got had my bellybutton piercing for countless years now. once I have been given it achieved, i became VERY stunned at how little it harm. She dotted the place she needed the needle to bypass, then used a sort of clamp to hold the exterior in place. All I felt became the common pinch of the clamp - i did not experience the needle in any respect! It of direction will experience sore in the process the therapeutic technique, yet i don't evaluate it a "soreness" extremely, basically a soreness. in case you want to take something like advil for it, it might help a sprint. Mine additionally itched. The itching became the WORST for me, as a results of fact I hate itching even extra advantageous than the soreness. yet, itching is oftentimes a demonstration that the physique is making an attempt to heal, so it somewhat is common for some new piercings to itch as they start to heal, so if that occurs, don't be worried. Sneezing, coughing, and so on, would not difficulty it. My basically concern is I actually have a huge canines who likes to bounce on me, and that i'd desire to teach away or her claws gets caught on my ring and pull at it, and that HURTS. in case you want a bellyring, I say decide for it! The piercing soreness is virtually none, and the therapeutic soreness isn't that undesirable extremely, so in case you may get by that, it somewhat is worth it. basically be sure you hold on with your piercers aftercare instructions heavily to stay away from an infection. If an infection occurs (it somewhat is basic with abdomen piercings) then you definately can touch your piercer lower back and that they are able to tell you what to do to help it heal suitable. sturdy luck!

I have a belly piercing, and the best piece of advice I have for you is to clean it every day. Even now, over a year since it was pierced, it gets infected if I don't clean it every day. Try the website www.bodycandy.com for jewelry. Also, look for internally threaded barbells, meaning the screw part is on the inside of the ball rather than the post, and it won't damage your piercing when putting it in and out. Good luck!

ok no matter HOW cute the ring is...just get a plain round ring...nothing with a charm or anything like that.. when I got my belly button pierced I did it with this long bar that had a flower w/ a blue gem in the middle...SO CUTE...but it was so big that it was hard to take care of because I couldn't treat the backside of it. Well it never would heal all the way and eventually one day I was in the bath tub and I was able to just pull it off without unscrewing the ball...it had migrated...which means it pushed its way up until it came out of my skin by itself...and I no longer had a hole there...all that money for nothing
Just get a plain, small, round ring until it is COMPLEATLY healed...then you can get whatever you want.

Your piercer will probably suggest 14 gage that is the norm for tongs and belly buttons unless you want something different.Just remember the smaller the gage the larger the post is.

10 to 14 gage is about the size you would want to go for. I think silver is the best color unless you want to get a whole bunch of them to coordinate with your clothes! As far as aftercare...I found that an antibiotic SPRAY works the best!

first off most places will do a standard 4 gauge piercing. I would just choose a simple silver one to start with. you cant take it out for like a year and you really dont need to handle it much for the first 6months so it can heal. They are not difficult to heal if you leave them alone and dont play with it. And it doesnt hurt at all unless you have like zero pain tolerance

I think 14 gage is standard. Uhh Don't go swimming or you'll be sorry! My freind cleans hers with water and salt. She put the water and salt into a shot glass and holds it tightly to her peircing so the water dosen't fall out.

Be careful about the type of jeans that you buy/wear afterwords, especially with dangling rings. My jeans ripped my belly button ring out, and they weren't very high!
