I think approx two days. Been a long time since I had mine done. Believe me the paid afterwards is nothing compared to the pain you will feel having it done! The pain afterwards is more like slight discomfort. Take care with the tattoo keep it clean and ask the tattooist how to look afterit. However it's not excruciating pain and make sure you really like the design.

Honestly it depends on where the tattoo is on your body, the size of it, and how much detail and coloring there will be. It also depends on how well your body heals. Tattoos heal by scabs forming over them and letting the scabs fall off naturally, and with lotioning them a lot. Think about this. If you cut or scrape yourself by accident, how long does it take for that cut to heal. That should be relatively the same thing as how long a tatttoo would take to heal. Make sure you don't pick at the tattoo while it is healing because doing so will remove some of the color and make it fade.

All three of my tattoos have been different.
My first one was on my wrist and it stopped throbbing a few hours after it was done.
My second was an anklet and that hurt for about a day and a half.
My third one I got yesterday at noon and it is still causing a little discomfort. It is ontop of my foot and boy did that make walking very difficult!

I have a half sleeve outlined and on a scale of 1-10 it was about a 3 overall. I would say most parts were a 1 the only areas that hurt a bit more and made me squint my eyes were the inner arm, close to the elbow, and the shoulder cap, everywhere else I was able to sit and keep a conversation going with my artist and the others in the shop.

It varies. It depends on your level of pain tolerance. It depends on how large or small the tattoo will be, and the location in which you get it done. I had two tattoos done on my back, both hurt for a few days afterwards.
Ask the tattoo artist about it.

i have 5 tats in different places. it really depends on where you got it and if clothes will irritate it. mine stayed sore until they healed about a week. if it is in a place that clothes cover make sure to keep it where air can get to it. keep ointment on it ( a&d is the best)

Similar to a bad sunburn - all depends on how well you follow the aftercare and how good your artist is.
