My High School is doing "the boyfriend" this fall and I was just wondering how stupid the play is. My friend's cousin's school put on the play a few years ago and said it was pointless but I was just wondering what people generally thought. Honestly I'd never heard of it before and the music for it sounds bizzar.

If the musical is stupid i'll be extemely upset. Past plays our school has done was beauty and the beast, Oklahoma, Le Mis, and everyone thought we would do footloose this year.. but I guess not. Thanks for the imput =)

Ladies, would it be more fun to crossdress your husband as the beautiful bride in white with puffy shoulers, veil, gloves, layers, the works? or.....

dress him as the bridesmaid that has to wear the ultra pink gown with more layers, lots of ruffles, and lots of discomfort?

I was watching the reactions of the verdict on youtube and the one thing that jumped out to me was the different reactions. White people were shocked and outraged while Blacks were celebrating as of they just received reperations for slavery...Why such a difference in the reaction? Well, it started out
at gatherings
like 'poker'
and 'barbeques'

I'd pick me up
a 'six pack'
just before
shootin' pool'

and late at night
with the 'football game'
my wife taped
off for me

I'd down my 'suds'
with a 'Subway' sub
and 'buzz' myself
to sleep....

Beer helped me out
with my daughter
who married
such a 'tool'

It got me
all my credits
I needed
to finish school

It's helped me
through the hard times
when Junior said
he'd like to be girl

H*ll ya, I like beer,
guess I
couldn't live
without it my world.....

Beer seemed to take
my hearing
when my wife went
'spouting' off

cause I moved

Purple Cows





Grandma made
the best of tea
God rest her soul
last year

She was always
mighty handy
when Grandpa wanted
homemade beer

Still I think back
to that summer
Grandma whipped up
Anise Tea
~
She picked the
roots herself
and somehow failed
to rid out foriegn weeds....

And there were
~
purple cows in the pasture
and the clouds were flying by

Grandpa seemed much younger
and Grandma knew how to fly

Cats were barking and dogs meowed
and the trees grew awkwardly

Ok I love taking pictures and so I'm gonna start doing it on the side. I have a normal job working 3 days a week and hubby works too so not like we need money. However I thought if I put flyer up and make some cards then I'd put them around at gas stations party city and such places. But I need a solo to go by/ a cute name. And different package prices. I'll do birthday partys events or even just one on one photos. just how to get started?????

My grandfather recently stated that his ancestors came over to America in 1620. Is this really possible? I know that Jamestown was established in 1607 and other colonies soon after, but is it likely that this is a family myth? If its true, then can I honestly say that that side of my family is the most American-southern family in the US, since they have lived on basically the same Louisiana and Mississippi since then?

I write all the time. The problem is all I write these days are posts for forum rpgs, and the quality of my writing is going kaput. My last story (book, rather) came to a standstill because I got to a point where I couldn't think of anywhere to take it. I can't seem to get inspired or motivated to start on my own new story, even though I have an idea for one. How do you get past writer's block when it attacks?
