First of all I thought it was a great book. Just wondering if you would have liked something to have happened that didn't or something to not have happened that did...of course we wish some of the deaths didn't occur.

I personally think it ended a bit abruptly, I wanted more. I also wish that the epilogue was longer and gave more detail into their lives.

I am hugely obsessed with military history, warfare, and what might have beens in history had the way things turned out they way they did history could have been completely different for us today...So I thought I would pose this question to you all..
For all you History Buffs...What was/were your most favorite turning points in History?? and why?

For me..One of my most favorite turning points in history was the Battle of Stalingrad, in which a severely malnourished Soviet Union military destroyed the German war machine at the gates of Stalingrad, which ultimately ended in the defeat of the Nazi regime, had the German's gotten through and destroyed Stalingrad and the Soviets, who knows what might have been? I also am fascinated by the battle at The Horns of Hattin, in which the Knights Templar and the Christian Army was annhilated by the army of Saladin.

Just thinking ahead about how I would like to spend next summer...would like to be able to make money at the same time or at least break even...

My ideal summer: spent doing something acting/theatre-related (not an acting major-just really enjoy studying the craft...)

Socrates basically stated that the body and the entire physical world is flawed and any actual knowledge you try to get from it would (as a consequence) also be flawed. and that the only way to reach true knowledge is to use only your thought to get to the "archetypal" world. the concept or idea of things, wich, as oposed to the physical world, is perfect.

now, in my point of view: Every bit of knowledge by means of thought we get, is derived from an idea we already had in our minds. and those ideas we already had are pretty much irrational, or based in the physical plane. like some dualist philosophies in anthropology that derive from religious concepts (like most works in middle age).

being that the case, unless you get to the root; The basic idea of the universe (wich is what philosophy is all about), without any kind of relation to any pre-given concept you had. ANY and ALL knowledge is fundamentally flawed

if you have other ideas you could share them aside from answering

Every important discovery results from patience, perseverance, and concentration - sometimes continuing for months or years - on one specific subject. A person who wnats to discover a new truth must remain absorbed by that one subject, must pay no attention to any thought that is unrelated to the problem.
So my question is ; Are all important discoveries the result of focusing on one subject?

It’s been so long since we talked. I know it’s hard after what’s gone on. Forgive me for the past and the future is just around the corner. We are far away. I want to close the gap between us. We went out a couple times, but you let your friends end us. Many confused feelings and words that came out at the wrong time and place. You let your friends ruin us. We are now split in two. My heart is also broken into two pieces. I know deep inside your feelings for me are lost and confused. You care about me inside. Your letting your friend’s ruin your life. Love is about how you feel about the person. Not letting your so called friends prank call and judge my love for you when I was sick. You know you love me inside but you won’t show it you’re scared about what will happen when it comes to this. We are far away from love and friendship. Trust me I love you. We are meant to be. You just let your friends ruin it for me. In the end when it comes to this, is far as you want to be. I will be waiting on the beach for you to say I’m sorry again and I love you. Will you go out with me?

Okay sO i am just an average teenage girl bOrd and looking around for auditions for tv commericans;shows;movies;ect. i dont have an agent and most of you will say that i need one to get into the buisness. i have been acting. singing. and dancing; ect sence i could walk and talk. its my dream to be on tv. i would love to be an actress. i live in a really small town and its hard to go to bigger towns so i dont really know how to get an agent and such. so if you have any sites that could help me audition that would really be helpful and i would thank you so much. i really love disney channel and would love to be on there. please help me!
