"$hit happens...(deal with it)"

[with out the line in the "S"...for obvious reasons :D]

Basically this means...that everything that happened, happened for a reason...and what happens, is something you can't change. When I used to wake up at 2:00 in the morning, I used to get really upset. But my dad just told me..."you can't change what already happened...so you will just have to deal with what happens...even if you don't like it..." Basically...take what you get...go with the flow...and above all...remember, you can't change the past. $HIT HAPPENS...DEAL WITH IT! ^_^ Great Question!

Never go to bed angry! Always tell the ones you love today how much they mean to you for they may not, or you may not be here tomorrow!
Do not judge other people unless you have walked a mile in their shoes.
And Treat Others as You Would like to be Treated!!
Try to Live Each Day as if it is Your Last.
I try to live my life accordingly but I am sad to say I often fail.
Thankfully we can ask for forgiveness and try to do better the next day.

Was it worth it? (Or, is it worth it?)

In a society that promotes the pursuit of happiness in addition to the volume of human suffering, it is helpful to use this on an individual level.

Most difficult moments in anyone's life came about as result of pursuing what they thought would make them happy. the next time someone is having difficulty, you will likely notice that they did what they did with an understanding that it would lead to happiness not unhappiness.

"Do unto others as you would be done unto." It is the message of all the great religions. How much PLAINER can you get? How much suffering would disappear if we all lived with this as the core of our behavior?

"There but for the grace of God go I" That one keeps me from judging others and being grateful for my life as I'm living it.
