Let me tell first I'm a liberal Indian (Hindu) not anti-Jew!
After reading Anne Frank's diary and watching poignant tales on TV movies, I felt very sorry for the Holocaust survivors and wanted to share my feelings with my grandpa, who's a historian (not that famous) working on the Indus civilization.
I received a shock when he said he believed the whole Holocaust thing is a bluff created by Jews. We debated and argued a lot on it since I'd seen photos and videos showing the suffering of the Jews and could not believe him!
I also said that the Jews, being largely outnumbered by Christians couldn't have staged the whole thing, but the old man didn't change his opinion. Instead he said I was sympathising with Jews who according to him are the richest people because of their cunning tendency.(like John D. Rockefeller)
He too argued back that if Holocaust was true, why would its denial amount to jail in some European countries? Why no freedom of speech?

Yes, in History there is one instance of a trading company conquering a huge country. Can anyone spot this country? Does it mean that something was miserably wrong with the people of that country at that time?

Why do Americans have no sense of humour about their own country?
South Africans can even laugh about crime in SA:
The Brits moan about their weather and food as well.
The Italians admit to the anarchy of Italian traffic and punctuality.
I even met a German who admitted that Germans have no sense of humour!!!
The Dutch joke about being parsimonious!
I know they are generalisations, but being able to admit your faults and laugh at them helps. I have noticed that Americans will nearly always defend America blindly!!!!!
Look at the comments on other threads!
PS I like the one about the next time Europe is in the hands of a madman.....and like George Bush was democratically elected in a fair election is totally sane....

Distance is what our enemy be named. But no matter what, I think of you. I long to touch and feel your cheek against mine. I love you with a passion and no matter what it will stay. You are mine and that is what matters. You make me smile you make me laugh, and I dont care what anyone says. They can bend and break me until I snap in two, but forever I will love you.

Ok this is hard to explain but ive just worked out that Harry is Sirius's 2nd cousin once removed, the same thing as Arthur Weasley, (Its on a family tree that J.K Rowling herself drew up)
so that means that Harry and Ginny are commiting Incest by being Married and having 3 children....

Do you think there are any limits to this phenomenon?
Should hurting other's sentiments(politically and religiously) be of no importance in this regard?
