Pop another top
open my friend
I'll tell you my whole story
from begining to the end



.............why I like beer




Well, it started out
at gatherings
like 'poker'
and 'barbeques'

I'd pick me up
a 'six pack'
just before
shootin' pool'

and late at night
with the 'football game'
my wife taped
off for me

I'd down my 'suds'
with a 'Subway' sub
and 'buzz' myself
to sleep....

Beer helped me out
with my daughter
who married
such a 'tool'

It got me
all my credits
I needed
to finish school

It's helped me
through the hard times
when Junior said
he'd like to be girl

H*ll ya, I like beer,
guess I
couldn't live
without it my world.....

Beer seemed to take
my hearing
when my wife went
'spouting' off

cause I moved
on to a 'Kegger'
'cause a 'six'
was not enough

So, I lived on 'buzzed'
that was all
there was
{after she left me}

Beer has always been
a friend of mine
now, can you understand,
and see?

I dislike beer. When I was a criminal, I refused to work with anyone who had been drinking anything. Drinking alcohol makes people stupid. Smoke, on the other hand, seems to make many people more creative. I will admit that most people who use smoke shouldn't. The reason is the same. It accentuates their stupidity. When the two are mixed, deaths and prison terms fall out of the sky as if by magic.
About 80% of all the people I have ever known are dead or in jail. All those problems can be traced to alcohol and the exponential growth of bad judgment as one thing after another f**ks up and stress reduces what little is left of intelligence.

Hmmmm we all need a something to comfort us when that certain times in life come......may need something or somewher where we can go to and hide i suppose for awhile....everyone does this not just with beer....could be with a bible....could be shopping...... could be music......whatever it takes to get us by.......human nature to find ways soothing us from all our worries.... to find peace we all yearn for.

I am not a beer drinker nor have i tasted one before and certainly have not felt what it could offer.....but i do understand if someone need something to get by especially these days.
