I've unpacked my home theater receiver after several months of storage, and I have a problem ... no sound. I can't even get it to play the radio. Am I missing something simple or has my equipment bit the dust?

He feels the need for healthcare reform, BUT not UHC

He is against abortion, BUT feels that children should have ready access to health care and a good education

He is for securing our borders and no Amnesty

he supports dismantling the IRS and instituting a fair tax - which is truly a fair tax - more people can save for those "rainy days" (i.e., illness, retirement, whatever they choose)

And he is hilarious

How could anyone not support him?

Well, his grandma has offered to add herself into the mix instead of using mostly store/resutrant additions. The problem is her food is very ethnic (Polish) and would be strange to my family. Even I find some of it weird after 4 years....some things like goose liver appitizers is just gross. Her cooking isn't the best in the first place and I would much rather just get some roasted chickens from the deli to go with my grandpas brisket and my dad's chili for entrees.

How can I let her down without offending her? I tried to have her do desert but she just replied "I don't bake dear" then started listing more strange/gross ethnic foods she wanted to consider for the menu.

The condition is often worst after a meal. If I walk for few minutes, the chest tightens up, get pain up both arms and I have to stop or sit for few minutes. Afraid to ask the doctor. How bad is this situation. Note: some days, I am just fine and can walk for hours and climb stairs with no problem.

My father (a lapsed Catholic) and his fiancee (also a lapsed Catholic) got married in a Protestant Church. I wasn't really amused because I object to people using a Church for the ambiance, sentimentality, or whatever other silly reason they have to marry there. I think that those who are not practicing a particular faith should not marry in a temple, synagogue, or Church. I don't think it is appropriate. Nevertheless, there seem to be a lot of people who feel differently. So could someone please enlighten me? Why go to a Church to be married instead of to a Justice of the Peace if you are not religious?
