Controversial subject.
It really depends on the people. However, sex before marriage has become way more common and guy's as well as women are pretty much used to dating someone that may have already had a few sexual partners.
I personally think you should "try before you buy" and test the waters. No, I'm not promoting promiscuity.. I'm just saying that the sexual part of a relationship, although not everything, is a major role in a successful marriage and if it turns out your partner is horrible you can end up very unsatisfied and disappointed within your marriage.

I'm a woman, and I have been having sex for around 3 years.

I don't think that there is anything really wrong with a girl waiting until marriage, but I think it is a very bad and ignorant thing to do. You can't wait until you are MARRIED to someone to know what sex with them will be like. Sex is a cornerstone to a healthy relationship.

You wouldn't buy a car without taking it on a test drive would you??

People who wait until marriage, it is their choice, but just know that there is absolutely NOTHING morally superior about them in any way. To me it just means that they will be rushing into a marriage without understanding one of the most fundamental aspects of themselves and of a relationship.

You have sex when YOU want. And always use protection. Go on the pill if you have sex at all, and make sure he uses a condom every single time. You should use 2 types of contraceptives.

A man should respect a woman whether she has had sex or not. You should not worry what a man wants from you and do what you feel is right. If you want to have sex before marriage that is YOUR choice to make. If you want to wait until marriage then you should definitely do it! Find a guy who respects you for you and whatever choice you make. A man can bring out the best in you but you don't need a man to be the best you. :)

It REALLY depends on who the guy is in terms of respecting a woman's decision in terms of sex.

My opinion: If a guy really loves and cherishes a girl, he will respect her decision. That is, if its her love that he seeks. If it is sex that is his central reason for being with you, then he will leave you if you are not "willing" to give it up. I guess you can say you can use sex as a way to determine how real a man is and what he is really after.

In either case, only you can determine when sex is the right time for you. If you are not ready, communicate it to your partner. If he truly loves you, he will understand and will be willing to wait. If not, he was most likely focused on having sex with you and did not care for the emotional component of the relationship. If he leaves, that means that you deserve someone better. Be patient and they will come along. If he does respect you and wait for you, trust me, this person may just be the best thing for you :-)

It's a personal choice. If that is your personal preference, then that IS part of you. Others have no choice but to respect it. You should also be proud of every decision you make, regardless of what others may think. Personally, I don't think there is ANYTHING wrong with the person to make the choice; although very uncommon one today.

I do believe, EVERYONE should wait, at least, until one become responsible and be able to take care of themselves. Even then, make every possible precaution a routine. All the problem that can stem from it (other than psychological ones) are preventable.

nothings wrong more men& woman should do it just to be sure the know what could happen babys-stds etc, first time always sucks, it takes years or lots of relationships& maturity to really grasp the concept of sex i would respect a woman sex is a small part of life and relationships. its to bad young people cant see that its more then just sex it would be alot easier if you found a man with the same view no doubt

I PERSONALLY THINK THAT UR PARTNER SHOULD NOT JUDGE U BECUASE U PROBABLY HAVEN'T DONE IT YET, I WOULD WAIT UNTIL U FIND THAT SPEACIAL SOMEONE AND THEN U CAN EITHER DO IT BEFORE OR AFTER U GET MARRIED, BUT IF U CANT HELP URSELF BUT TO JUST DO IT THEN AND THERE, WHERE EVER U ARE, THEN THERE U GO, I AM NOT LIKE THAT......, BUT ITS UP 2 U, IF U WANT TO HAVE A BABY, WELL GOOD LUCK WITH THAT, AND IF U END UP HAVING ONE, MAKE DARN SURE THAT THE FATHER IS HEALTHY AND DOESNT DRINK, U DONT NEED TO BE IN THE HOSPIATL, GOOOD LUCKKK.... It honestly depends on the guy. Sex before marriage is a topic that everyone has different opinons on. You just have to be lucky and find the right kind of people. The people that respect eachother whether they have had sex or not.
