Is this like a project. anyways. First off I subtracted six from both sides and that cancels the six on the left side and leaves me with twelve on the right side. next i divided both sides by negative three. On the left side i have X and on the right i have negative six. hopefully i did it right and have anymore q's just post them up and ill try to help. good luck.
