They should be fine since they are breathable, although I wonder how much thermal value something like this will have, especially if you are a "cold person". You may want to consider winter jogging tights instead, or some polypro underwear (I use that and its great).

if the other stuff is breathable, it should be ok too, with thermal value still an issue. Remember that multiple lighter layers are always better, especially if you ski an area where the temps vary significantly throughout the season. You just may need more layers for the coldest days. As someone else here said, you want to avoid materials like cotton, which will get wet and stay wet.

enjoy the slopes!

These would be an excellent base layer if you are generally a "warm" person or tend to work up a sweat when you ski. Supplex material is very breathable and will wick the moisture away from your body. I use a similar material...but I also tend to get a work out skiing.

The insulative nature of Supplex is not as good as other things like Smartwool, Bergalene, Cappaline, Holofiber, or Polypro. But the pants you are asking about are a heck of a lot better than cotton. For real warmth I would suggest a pair of synthetic fleece pants.

Should be okay. Generally, the legs work so hard in skiing, that anything underneath some quality snowpants is fine.

I just wear a pair of hiking pants underneath (from REI). Works fine. For extra cold days, add a pair of true thermal long underwear for the base.

specific, you are able to. Aerie is made via American Eagle and whether that's a separate branch (for undergarments), it remains in an identical company so specific. in my opinion, their outfits and underclothes are very gentle.
