A friend of mine was recently arrested for armed robbery but they found him with no gun, the viticm told the cops he had a gun, they still havent filed any charges against him because they have no gun. He has been locked up for almost a month now. Can he get charged for armed robbery if they have no evidence of a gun???? also if he is currently in college and this is his first offence will he see jail time?

Right now I am looking at buying a 350 V8 that was pulled from a 1970 Corvette. However, I would like to know what I am getting myself into before I throw some money down towards that engine. Is it possible to get a hotel in Downtown, Toronto for a couple who's under 18 yrs of age? They are both 16 yrs old, and are currently dating. I had a talk with God one night
At least that's who he posed to be.
He sat down in my rocking chair
And said what would you ask of me?

It didn't take me long to think;
I didn't even have to try.
Before he got the question out
I said why God why?

What took posession of your soul
To invent this thing called life?
What master plan could be behind
This insane updown strife?

All he did was shake his head.
He said he didn't know.
He said that he was running late.
And that he had to go.

He said life's what you make of it;
Just do what you want to do.
There's no mystery there to solve my child

As he rose and turned to leave
I knew that's what God would have said.

This year I am graduating, going to Natchitoches Northwestern which is, like, two hours from where I live. I've got a six year old Rottweiler x black Lab who lives in our fenced off back yard. Unfortunately, you can't bring any sort of pet to stay with you in the dorm [you've gotta stay on campus for the first year or something]. My parent's are going to take care of her ofcourse, but is it selfish of me to leave her there?
Or would it be better for me to give her to somebody who's not so busy and would be around more often?
I'm really against the latter, but it'll be heart breaking to see her become a different dog with every visit home and eventually end up bored out of her mind.
I'm probably overthinking how horrible it's going to be for her though. But, you know, she's my big hyper fool and I'm going to miss her loads.

soooo my mom found out that alot of my friends do drugs (long story).......and now she forbids me from hanging out with them! wtf? i mean thats alot of my friends! (from that one particular group) i can't just say "hey i cant hang with you anymore". i don't want to drugs, never have, and never will! my friends respect me when i tell them no. besides i don't go riding around with them while they're high or drunk. im not stupid. and i don't even hang around them when they're high most times. i mean they're really cool, and funny so i can't just drop them! for the most part its just weed, alcohol, and cigs. and when she told me to make new friends, i while i was considering some people that im not that close with, but could be if i wanted to be, do drugs too! so who am i suppose to hang with? im just saying if she doesn't want me to be friends with people who do drugs, then she's talking about half my school. parents would u still let ur kids continue to be around these people?

He's 25, a brilliant young engineer, doing great in his life, still single. A great young adult. Unfortunately, our relationship was destroyed when he was 14. He made bad mistakes, joined bad crowds. One day he drank, joined them in something stupid and illegal. I said he wasn't worth my respect and trust, besides other hard words. He got a harsh punishment that lasted for 6 months, until I though I could trust him again. He turned into a great boy that made us proud but neve got over that. He got into a deep depression and had to go to therapy. He gt out of it but since them has avoided me. Though he agrees he messed up and nede dcorrection, it's his firm opinion that no parent should ever say to a kid what I said. I tried to make up but never apologized, think he needed that words and punishment to wake up. Today I'm in a difficult situation, need his help, he can, but I don't know if he will. How do I ask for his help? What do I say? Should I apologize? We haven't talked for a year
