I don't know what to think. I am 12dpo today and tested first thing this morning using a supermarket brand pregnancy test. It almost straight away showed two blue lines - although the second blue line was really really faint - meaning that it was positive. Anyway, about an hour or so later, I tested using a First Response and it was negative - no matter how hard I tried to see a line. I feel so dissappointed! Why has this happened do you think?

I'm a 3rd year mathematics uni student (albeit not a very good one or I wouldn't be asking)

My cousin just asked me a few question for her end of year exams and there was a few I haven't had any experience in for about 15 years and I've totally forgotten...

The question is

If y varies directly as the square of x, y=100 when x=5, find the value of y when x=3

:) I know it has something to do with the greek alpha symbol, well at least that's what I remember? Any help will be great!!

my bf an i have been dating for 9 months now..we have broken up twice in those nine months only for about a week each time...he used to be happy to talk to me and happy when we'd see each other, now he hates seeing me....it's almost like one day his whole personality jsut turned uspide down, he used to be lovign and caring and the sweetest guy int he entire world...i can barely tlak to him , i tried on the phone (shouldnt it be in person?) but he wont listen to me, he either hangs up or tells me to shut up and listen to him....i wanna break up with him, but i dont know how, im afraid to, and he always makes me change my mind when we go to school the next day..ohh..and we cant forget his little friend ashley..she's this freshman that likes him and everyday right in front of me she wants a hug, every day he gives her one when i can barely get one from him no matter how hard i try to get him to even hug me...but then he alwasy flirts with me and is himself when he's not in this trance...

I am doing some research and I was wondering what can occur to the brain and/or body if the person is never treated for depression? Scenario: The depression was brought on by the sudden death of a close friend. I would first like to say I do know there are stages of grief that one must go through in order to heal. I want to point out the depression stage. If one becomes trapped in that stage and nothing is done to try to get past it, eventually what effects would it have on the body and brain from a physical stand point? I always thought after some point it could take a toll on the body, but what is happening from within.
