You mean "hassle" like having to sign paperwork and promise to pay it back?

Many banks (BoA, etc.) offer personal loans to people with good credit.

If your credit is not so good, you may be out of luck. You can try Prosper.com but I can't guarantee anything.

Also, any "Private Lenders" who respond to your posting are scammers and are to be avoided.
