To "Johm":
25Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written. (Bible)

Veronica is a lady who gave Jesus a veil to wipe his face on. His image then reflected on her veil.

Did you even read the link you provided? How about this exact quote from it

"These pious traditions cannot be documented, but there is no reason why the belief that such an act of compassion did occur should not find expression in the veneration paid to one called Veronica, even though the name has found no place in the Hieronymian Martyrology or the oldest historical Martyrologies, and St. Charles Borromeo excluded the Office of St. Veronica from the Milan Missal where it had been introduced. The Roman Martyrology also records at Milan St. Veronica de Binasco, the Order of St. Augustine, on 13 January, and St. Veronica Giuliani on 9 July."

They quite frankly say there exists no documentation for this. It is just a happy story someone started. No evidence exists in the least that this is true.

Veronica brought water to Jesus(on the Via Dolorosa) when He fell for the second time and wiped His face. Jesus 's face imprint remained on her veil. It is also the 6th station of the cross. The veil now hangs in St Peter's Basilica

Does it make you laugh when anyone from one of the Protestant branches of the Christianity tree says your Bible is the wrong one. When in fact theirs was translated from a 1200 year old one of either Catholic or Orthodox roots?

Here is another cool link of St. Veronica: http://orthodoxwiki.org/Veronica

The observe says we does not be attentive to the real time while Jesus is coming returned, yet we are to be attentive to the season. it quite is as in the days of Noah, and each and all of the prophecy's have been fulfilled aside from those in Revelation which would be fulfilled while Christ comes returned for His church. it quite is not a doom message in case you're stored and arranged for Him. i think we are in the final days, b/c i think in the bible. And it quite is real.

Veronica was a pious woman from Jerusalem who encountered Christ on His way to Calvary. Deeply moved by His suffering, looking into His face pouring with sweat and blood, she wiped it with her veil - and found His portrait imprinted on the cloth when she got it back. The white, almost transparent veil measures about 6.5 by 9.5 inches and bears dark red features of a bearded man with long hair and open eyes. The face on the veil is that of a young man who has suffered greatly. He looks tired. The marks of blows that have struck him are clear: bruises and other scars on the forehead, clotted blood on his nose, one pupil slightly dilated. Yet, in spite of the evident signs of suffering and pain, the look is that of a serene man enduring his suffering with patience.

The veil is called "The Veil of Veronica "

She is one of the people who interacted with Christ as He took the cross to Calvary according to Catholic tradition. She is not mentioned in any Biblical text or one from the Apocrypha.

its a tradition. We know it happened because Jesus left the imprint of his face on her veil. It has been passed down thru the centuries, just like we do in familes, and these are our families by the way, but justlike when you heard stories from your granma about grandpa in the war or something, just because it is not written down, it is called oral tradition in the bible, also the bible itself says that not every thing Christ did was written in the bible, we are Catholics, we believe what the bible says, Hea !! Its our book!!
